Questions
Before you apply
Do I need my own bankroll?
No. The Stable funds your play — buy-ins and bankroll are provided on every package. Your job is to play well, study, and put in the agreed volume.
What does “after 90 days” mean for benefits?
Your first 90 days are a proving period with coaching, reviews, and full pay under your package. Once you complete 90 days on the roster, you become eligible for the standard benefits package, including medical coverage, dental and vision options, paid time off, and the retirement plan — confirmed in your written offer.
Can I switch packages later?
Yes. Packages are reviewed quarterly. A salaried player who starts crushing can move toward commission for more upside; a commission player who wants stability can move the other way. Terms for the new package are agreed in writing before the switch.
What is “makeup” on the commission package?
If the Stable is down on your play overall, your share is calculated after the Stable recovers that amount — that's makeup, and it's standard in staking. We track it openly, share the numbers with you, and settle on a regular schedule. No hidden balances, ever.
I don't have big recorded results. Should I still apply?
Yes. Recorded cashes help, but so do online graphs, references from rooms you play in, and an honest conversation about your game. Rising players are a core part of the roster — tell us your real story in the application.
Where do I have to play?
Wherever poker is legal and licensed — live rooms and legal online sites. Schedules and travel to major series are planned together with your coach based on your package and game.
Can I invest in a player instead of playing?
Yes — that's what the Invest section is for. You can express interest in backing a specific player, a tournament series, or the roster pool. Nothing is sold or accepted through this website: every opportunity starts with a conversation, is structured with legal review, and is agreed in writing. No return is promised or guaranteed, and poker variance means any amount put in could lose value.
How do player referrals work?
Use the Refer a Player form to introduce a player you know — their game, where they play, and why they'd fit the house. We review referrals the same way we review applications, and we'll only reach out to players who'd be glad to hear from us.
